Wednesday early morning and Friday evenings are at The Shambhala Buddhist Centre - Lower Redland road Bristol. Wednesday Early Morning Come and start the day with an early morning practice to wake up the body and still the mind. About the yoga: Ashtanga is a dynamic yoga practice. Those who already have some knowledge of yoga will find many familiarities in this 'Mysore style' practice where the main difference is the focus on developing a self practice within a group situation. The practice sessions can be booked in blocks of x 4 or drop in at a slightly higher rate. Arrive at 6:30am for a prompt 6.45am start Location: The Shambhala Buddhist Centre - Lower Redland road Bristol. Friday Evenings It is a new group working together on Primary and second series. Open to students who are keen to develop a self practice, who already have some practical knowledge of the sequence ; and are interested in being assisted. At the very minimum newcomers need to have practiced the sun salutes and first 3 - 6 standing postures using ujjayi breath. The working atmosphere of the group is one of shared Sadhana - a personal process in which you are encouraged to bring out your best in terms of personal, individual and spiritual effort. A disciplined and dedicated practice of learning, The practice sessions can be booked in blocks of x 4 or drop in at a slightly higher rate. However, drop in is not suitable for newcomers to this group. A commitment of 4 sessions in the first instance is required for all newcomers to the group.
